Bei NEYA Hotels ist die soziale Verantwortung eine Säule der Geschäftsstrategie, um einen positiven und messbaren Einfluss auf die Gemeinden zu haben, in denen wir tätig sind.

Das Projekt Solidarity Room, das vor 13 Jahren ins Leben gerufen wurde, ist unsere wichtigste externe soziale Initiative. NEYA Hotels bietet Familien in prekären Situationen, deren Kinder in einem Kinderkrankenhaus untergebracht sind, Übernachtungen mit Frühstück an. Dieses Projekt, das Teil unseres Engagements für die Ziele für nachhaltige Entwicklung (SDGs) ist, insbesondere im Bereich Gesundheit (SDG 3 - Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden), Verringerung sozialer Ungleichheiten (SDG 10 - Verringerung von Ungleichheiten) und Partnerschaften für Entwicklung (SDG 17), zeigt, welche positiven Auswirkungen wir auf die Gemeinschaft haben. Seit seiner Einrichtung hat das Solidaritätszimmer mehr als 200 Menschen aus mehr als 100 Familien geholfen und mehr als 650 Übernachtungen mit Frühstück angeboten.

Zusätzlich zum Solidaritätsraum fördert NEYA Hotels aktiv das Corporate Volunteering unserer Mitarbeiter und ermutigt sie, sich direkt für soziale Zwecke zu engagieren. Außerdem unterhalten wir solide Partnerschaften mit verschiedenen Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen, um die Wirksamkeit und Reichweite unserer Aktionen zu erhöhen, was im Einklang mit SDG 17 - Partnerschaften für die Ziele steht.

Eine der Aufgaben von NEYA Hotels ist die Förderung einer positiven und verantwortungsvollen Beteiligung an der Gemeinschaft durch Initiativen und Protokolle mit Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen. Ein Beispiel dafür ist die von NEYA Hotels 2011 ins Leben gerufene Initiative "Solidarity Room". Diese Initiative ist das Ergebnis einer Partnerschaft mit der lokalen Gesundheitseinheit von São José (USLSJ), die über ihr Büro für soziale Maßnahmen Situationen identifiziert und bewertet, in denen Familienmitglieder Unterstützung benötigen. Sie werden an das Hotel verwiesen, wenn sie eine Unterkunft in der Nähe der Krankenhäuser - Hospital D. Estefânia, Hospital dos Capuchos, Hospital de Santa Marta, Maternidade Dr. Alfredo da Costa und Hospital Curry Cabral - benötigen.
Diese Partnerschaft wurde auch mit dem Centro Materno-Infantil do Norte in Porto geschlossen.
Ziel ist es, bedürftigen Familien mit Kindern, die in die pädiatrische Versorgung aufgenommen werden, kostenlose Übernachtungen mit Frühstück zu bieten.

In a solidarity partnership between NEYA Hotels, the Junta de Freguesia de Arroios and various partners, we carried out a volunteer action that fills us with pride and transformed the day of 21 families (36 people) in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability. The collaborators prepared and served a special dinner, and all the families took home a basket of essential goods.

To mark Volunteer Day, we carried out a solidarity action in collaboration with the Junta de Freguesia de Miragaia and several partners. This initiative supported 35 families (58 people) in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability with a special lunch and a basket of essential goods. This act of solidarity reaffirms our commitment to helping the community.

Training Educate to Transform

The "Training Educate to Transform" initiative by Associação Crescer Bem utilized the room and facilities provided by NEYA Lisboa Hotel to offer practical training in domestic skills to the parents of children undergoing hospital treatment. This training includes activities such as setting the table and making the bed, which are essential not only to improve the quality of life during this difficult period but also to empower parents with valuable skills for the job market. With these skills, parents are better prepared to find employment, promoting their autonomy and financial stability in the long term.
