At NEYA Hotels, we simultaneously assess ESG risks and opportunities which influence our economic performance and impact our operations. The ESG report considers material topics, such as, the impact of hotel operations on the environment, as well as solutions to offset or mitigate these impacts. We adopt tangible solutions that promote energy efficiency (in combination to consumption monitoring), as well as measures of circular economy (such as waste valorization and food waste reduction), and operations are run with 100% renewable energy.
Other environmentally-positive measures implemented at NEYA Hotels are the appliance of energy management systems that monitor water consumption results according to implemented solutions, as well as mapping and mitigating food losses throughout the value chain — starting with Green Procurement procedures and criteria, to the kitchen and finally to guest consumption.

Energy
Energy efficiency is a priority at NEYA Hotels. We use solar thermal panels for water heating and green energy, reducing dependence on non-renewable sources. Centralized technical management and sectoral monitoring of consumption ensure efficient and optimized operations.
We use LED lighting and presence sensors to minimize energy waste. In the rooms, we have implemented keys that turn off lighting and electrical equipment and measures such as cutting off the air conditioning when opening windows, as well as limiting temperature regulation by guests.

We promote the conscious use of water through sustainable practices. We have implemented flow reducers and sensors, reducing waste without compromising comfort. We use efficient washing machines, which consume less water and energy, and dual-flush cisterns, allowing consumption to be adjusted to needs. These measures reflect our commitment to protecting water resources and contributing to a sustainable future.

Mobility
NEYA Hotels promotes sustainable mobility, reflecting its commitment to reducing its ecological footprint. With plastic free initiatives, we opt for tetrapak, wood and biodegradable paper. In addition, we encourage non-waste with options for the conscious use of resources, such as linen and water.
