Concept

Sustainability and conscious tourism were not yet communicated, and we already had this concern and desire to make a difference in sustainable tourism.

This is how our first project, the NEYA Lisboa Hotel, was born from the renovation of a derelict building, with sustainability present from the beginning in our business model.

The concept has now been replicated for our second unit, the NEYA Porto Hotel.

History

The hotel was born from the restoration of part of the ruins of one of the few Manueline architecture buildings in the city of Porto, the Convento Madre Deus de Monchique. The construction retained the original design of the convent and the gardened cloister, preserving the history of the building.

From the symbiosis between the historical heritage and the contemporaneity of the project, emerges a hotel that blends into a setting in perfect harmony between the past and the present, with a philosophy based on sustainability and thinking about the future.
